Hello people, how's it going?
Everyone has or has atleast seen those sick black dots on the nose, chin, forehead etc called blackheads. Only a few lucky ones can claim to never have been afflicted by those things.
Blackheads are the regular hair follicles which collect sebum and get oxidised when this sebum comes in contact with the oxygen in air.. FYI sebum is a oily, waxy secretion from the sebaceous gland, which functions to make the skin waterproof and supple. Whiteheads are also the same thing, only the sebum hasn't come in contact with the oxygen as it is covered by skin and hence remains white..
Hmmm.... We've all had blackheads or still regularly get them. And we also get it extracted from our beauticians, who seem to rather enjoy the process. Wherever you get it done from, the process remains the same. The beautician scrubs the face and steams it. This opens up the pores somewhat. Then she takes out a tool which looks like the miniature version of some medieval torture device and goes on the actually torturing us half square centimeter at a time... Its all very nice that the lady in question knows what she's doing and blah blah.. But I've recently developed a little extra oily skin, especially on my nose. No matter what I do, my nose refuses to budge from its permanently papad-like appearance. And this has given me GIANT blackheads. No amount of makeup is sufficient to cover this.. So I was searching for a easy, painfree and cheap method to get rid of them. And I came across this method:
So you basically apply a thin coat of Fevicol on your nose. Use the household variety as this is safe even for kids to use. Let this coat dry completely. It becomes transparent and kinda stiff. This will take about 15 minutes. Then gently peel off this fevicol layer. Apply a toner to close the pores and voila... Blackheads gone....
Well, if you still have some left, don't worry. Atleast the black chunky dots on your nose are reduced. This is after all a diy method and I don't claim that its foolproof 😉 . But give it a try and let me know what you think....
